1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Mylander Law LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit www.mylanderlaw.com (the "Site") or communicate with us through the Site. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information responsibly.

When you submit the consultation form or otherwise contact us, you voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, practice-area interest, preferred contact method, and any description of your matter. You should not submit confidential case details, medical records, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the Site.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our third-party analytics providers automatically collect certain information, including your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and general geographic location (at the city or region level). This information is collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and deliver the consultation you requested
  • Send you confirmation emails and follow-up communications about your inquiry
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve its content, performance, and usability
  • Protect the Site from fraud, abuse, and security threats

4. Third-Party Services We Use

  • Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google LLC). Used to measure traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics may set cookies and collect information about your browsing behavior across sites that use Google services. You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
  • Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provided by Vercel Inc.). Used for privacy-friendly page-view and performance metrics. Vercel Analytics is designed to avoid collecting personally identifiable information.
  • Formspree (provided by Formspree Inc.). Receives the contents of the consultation form you submit and forwards them to our inbox.
  • Resend (provided by Resend Inc.). Used to send the confirmation email you receive after submitting the consultation form.
  • Google Maps (provided by Google LLC). The Contact page includes an embedded Google Map showing our office location. Google Maps may set its own cookies and collect information when you interact with the map.
  • Vercel (our hosting provider). Vercel processes server logs as part of normal website operation.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to provide core functionality, remember your preferences, and measure site usage. Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can configure your browser to reject cookies or notify you when cookies are set, but some features of the Site may not function properly if you disable cookies entirely.

Your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is not uniformly recognized across websites or analytics providers. At this time, we do not alter our practices based on a Do Not Track signal.

6. Your Privacy Rights

7. Data Retention

We retain information you submit through the Site for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services you requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Consultation inquiries that do not lead to representation are retained for a limited period and then deleted unless we are required to retain them by law.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information transmitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. You should not submit confidential case information, medical records, financial account details, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through the Site's consultation form. 9. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete that information.

10. Attorney-Client Privilege and Confidentiality

Submitting information through the Site's consultation form does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not make the information you send protected by attorney-client privilege. An attorney-client relationship is established only after we confirm in writing that we are representing you in a specific matter. Do not send confidential or time-sensitive information through the Site until a written engagement has been confirmed.

11. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for users in Oregon and the United States. If you are accessing the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information on our privacy practices.
