These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.mylanderlaw.com (the "Site"), operated by Mylander Law LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Use of the Site, including submitting an inquiry through the consultation form, sending an email to any address listed on the Site, or reviewing any content published here, does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Mylander Law LLC or Kirk Mylander. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when we agree in writing to represent you in a specific matter and, where applicable, a written engagement agreement is signed.

Until that written confirmation occurs, any information you send through the Site is not protected by attorney-client privilege or the attorney work-product doctrine. We may receive similar inquiries from others, and submitting information through the Site does not guarantee that we can or will represent you. Please do not send confidential case facts, medical records, financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive materials through the Site's consultation form.

Content on the Site — including articles, blog posts, practice-area descriptions, FAQs, and similar material — is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and should not be relied on as such. Every legal matter turns on its specific facts and on laws that change over time. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mylander Law LLC, Kirk Mylander, and their affiliates from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Site; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any action arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with the "Effective" date updated. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
